I am a furloughed airline employee recently laid off due to service cutbacks. Bad news? No, great news! I get to keep my free travel benefits until the airline decides to rehire me!
I am passing my good fortune on to you by making this offer: For $500 plus the actual cost of gas, I will drive your car, van, light truck or small RV anywhere in the continental USA or Canada. Since my return flight costs me nothing, I'll charge you nothing for it. Vehicle delivery usually in 5 days or less. I'll even take your pets and care for them along the way!
I will pick up your vehicle at your starting location anywhere on the continent and drive it with care to your specified destination. I will take the most direct route and not make any major detours. Within five days (in most cases), your car will be where you want it to be.
I'll even take along your well-behaved dog, cat, bird or iguana at no additional charge and will attend to its needs during the journey.
Compare my price to that charged by standard transport services like National Transport LLC and Direct Express Auto Transport. (Google for others under "Car Transport") Most charge at least $1200 for similar service coast-to-coast -- and they won't take your pets or anything else stored in your car.
I hold a valid driver's license in Nevada (Class C - not a commercial license) and I have a near perfect driving record (with one speeding ticket in the past ten years and no accidents). My character is such that I passed TSA/Homeland Security background checks and worked successfully for the airline for one year before being laid off. Copies of my airline ID, airport security badge and drivers license are available upon request.
The $500 fee includes all my own personal expenses. (I will take care of my own expenses for food and lodging.) At the time of pick-up, you pay only $250 plus our best estimate of the cost of gas and highway tolls. Upon delivery of the vehicle, you will pay the other $250 of my fee. I will keep all gas receipts, and upon delivery we will settle any differences between the estimate and the actual cost.
My airline flies to most major cities. If your pick-up or drop-off location is a significant distance from one of these cities, I will charge you for my additional cost of reaching that airport. I may also charge extra for trips to/from Alaska or for unusual circumstances, multiple pets or challenging pets. I am not bonded or insured, but any accidents should be covered by your own insurance.
This is a personal service, not a commercial one (just like
engaging a friend to do it), and I can adapt to
your family's special needs. If there are other services you
need in conjunction with your move, please ask.
